His Verizon team has served the multifamily market for more than a dozen years and is responsible for bringing the best of Verizon to multifamily residential developers and operators and providing solutions that fit the unique requirements of the industry. Weston is also responsible for steering the development of Verizon's FTTP Fios platform to best serve those needs. Previously, Weston ran the engineering program management office for multifamily FTTP. He was responsible for the development and introduction of processes, technologies and practices aimed at providing MDU properties with flexible, customizable, efficient FTTP solutions. Those developments paved the way for deployment of FTTP- based services to more than 4 million MDU and multitenant units. He holds bachelor's and master's degrees from the University of Texas at Austin. Jory Wolf Vice President, Digital Innovation Magellan Advisors Wolf joined Magellan after 22 years as chief information officer for Santa Monica, California, where he launched Santa Monica City Wi-Fi, which provides free internet services to the public through a network of 32 hot zones and wireless coverage in most major commercial and transit corridors throughout the city. He created Santa Monica City Net, a 100-gigabit broadband initiative to support an environment for local businesses to compete in the global economy with cutting-edge network solutions. Wolf has more than 35 years of experience in IT, including broadband, FTTH and smart city initiatives. He and his teams have earned more than 50 awards for IT projects, and in 2012, he received the CIO Lifetime Achievement Award from the Los Angeles Business Journal. Doug Woods Vice President, Residential Access Wave Broadband Woods had the unique opportunity to be an early pioneer in multifamily internet, launching high-speed internet service in one of the first U.S. apartment communities to go online to working for the first internet service provider to launch gigabit service in 2008 (CondoInternet, acquired by Wave Broadband and productized as WAVE G). Since WAVE's acquisition by RCN, Woods leads and supports the multifamily telecom strategies across the three RCN brands: Wave, RCN and Grande Communications, the sixth-largest cable and internet provider in the United States. Supported by teams of top professionals, the Wave/RCN/Grande brands have earned best-of-breed stature among next-gen, ultra-high-speed internet providers.
