Previously, Socia was executive director of the Tech Goes Home program in Boston, whose mission is to ensure digital equity. Tech Goes Home provides training, hardware and low-cost internet access to Boston residents. She spent 32 years as an educator and administrator and was the founding principal of the award-winning Lilla G. Frederick Middle School in Boston, where she led the one-to-one laptop initiative. Angela Stacy Vice President of Marketing and Communications SmartWorks Partners Stacy is responsible for running all facets of the marketing department and serves on the FCC's Broadband Deployment Advisory Committee. She has a proven executive management track record and more than 20 years of experience driving sales growth in the telecommunications industry. Previously, she was vice president of operations for a biotech startup in Nashville. Stacy gained diverse experience in marketing, public relations and operations working at Verizon and assisted the launch of Sprint PCS, creating and launching its first national wireless insurance program. She has extensive experience in managing multiple sales channels and national product introductions, driving customer experience strategies and leading operational teams to deliver outstanding customer support. She holds a B.A. in communications from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Tom Stender President and CEO InfiniSys Stender has been with InfiniSys for nearly two decades. He oversees product development to ensure that InfiniSys designs meet the latest standards. He also closely monitors the telecommunications industry as well as other home technology trends to help clients understand the latest technology. Stender helps InfiniSys develop new services that will appeal to today's tech-savvy residents. Broadband Communities has named him one of the most influential people in the industry. Sean Stokes Principal Baller Stokes & Lide, PC Stokes's clients include the American Public Power Association, the National Association of Telecommunications Officers and Advisors, regional and state utility associations and municipal leagues, and public and private entities in more than 35 states, including most publicly owned FTTH networks in the country. He was part of the legal team representing Chattanooga, Tennessee, and Wilson, North Carolina, in their petitions to the FCC to preempt state barriers to broadband. Stokes is a graduate of the National Law Center at George Washington University. He is a member of the bar of the United States Circuit Court of Appeals for the Fourth, Eighth and Eleventh Circuits; the Federal District of Columbia; and the local courts of the District of Columbia.
