She is responsible for developing all of AvalonBay's telecommunications strategies and managing the successful execution of these projects, including the identification, due diligence, contract negotiation and selection of broadband, video and voice providers. She also leads and coordinates related projects among third-party service providers, AvalonBay's construction department and AvalonBay's property management. Jordan has a B.S. in business administration from the University of Missouri, St. Louis, where she graduated magna cum laude. She holds a license for real estate in California; lives in Lakeside, California; and is an avid horse enthusiast and the proud mother of a daughter, Kara. Carl Kandutsch Attorney Law Office of Carl E. Kandutsch Kandutsch (J.D., University of Washington; Ph.D., Yale University; B.A., Johns Hopkins) owns and operates the Kandutsch Law Office. In the late 1990s, he was an attorney in the FCC's Cable Bureau, where he became an expert on the commission's inside wiring rules. For the past 17 years, Kandutsch has focused on competitive access to multitenant buildings for wired and wireless cable and broadband service providers, regulatory issues affecting broadband services, wireless facility siting and the negotiation and enforcement of MDU access and bulk service agreements. He has written extensively on these and other issues affecting the provision of digital communications services in multifamily environments across the country. Fabion Kauker Product Architect 3-GIS Kauker brings to 3-GIS experience that includes design analysis for the NBN Australia backbone, mid mile and access networks and software design for Chorus and the New Zealand UFB project. Combining his knowledge of telecommunications, GIS and mathematics, Kauker has been able to deliver savings in the billions of dollars and hundreds of days, enabling operators to get to cash flow faster with more transparency. Never satisfied with the current bottlenecks, he is always exploring new technologies in many domains, including optimization, AI, HCI and 5G. He believes that with the increasing complexity and ubiquity of networks, it is hard to fathom not using AI to design a network. Mike Keyser CEO BARC Electric Cooperative During Keyser's eight years at the BARC Electric Cooperative, a rural Virginia electric cooperative located three hours southwest of Washington, D.C., that serves 13,000 members, the cooperative launched the first community solar array in Virginia. BARC is underway on a system-wide, fiber-to-the-home project to bring gigabit internet, voice and video service to all its members.
