He and CCG specialize in helping clients launch new broadband markets, develop new products and finance new ventures. CCG, the largest telecom consulting firm in the United States in terms of clients, has a varied telecommunications practice and helps clients with engineering, regulatory, operation and planning issues. Curtis Dean President, SmartSource Consulting Broadband Services Coordinator, Iowa Association of Municipal Utilities Dean has worked in the telecommunications industry for the past 18 years. At SmartSource, he provides administrative support, marketing support and strategic direction for small broadband companies. He also serves as broadband services coordinator for the Iowa Association of Municipal Utilities, providing general support for Iowa's two dozen active municipal telecommunications utilities. Mark DeFalco Manager Appalachian Regional Commission DeFalco has worked in the telecommunications industry for more than 30 years. He has worked for a regional Bell company, a rural telephone holding company, a large inter-exchange carrier and several competitive local exchange carriers. He specialized in competitive market entry and inter-carrier compensation issues and has testified before public service commissions and legislative committees in more than 20 states. At the Appalachian Regional Commission, he addresses rural telecom and broadband issues. Leo Delgado Founder and President Converged Services Delgado has been actively involved with the telecommunications and broadband industry for more than 35 years. For 20 years, Converged Services has negotiated TV, internet, voice, security agreements, macro and in-building wireless solutions to secure best contract terms and future-proof infrastructure for its clients. Previously general and regional manager for some of the largest cable television systems in the United States and overseas, Delgado also owned several small private cable systems, which enabled him to acquire significant expertise in all aspects and architecture of TV, internet, voice, and other telecommunications systems. He holds a B.S. in accounting from the University of Florida and an MBA from Nova Southeastern University.
